Patricia da Silva

Patricia Da Silva is a Programme Adviser and global coordinator at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), where she leads the Leave No One Behind unit, bringing over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and development. A recognized expert in public health and gender equality, her areas of specialization include sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, sustainable development, human rights, and equity and inclusion. Before joining UNFPA, Patricia served as the Associate Director of International Advocacy for the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) in the Western Hemisphere Region. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from New York University and a Ph.D. from Tilburg University, where her dissertation focused on the intersection of gender, culture, and HIV.
