Michaela Moua

Michaela Moua is the first European Commission Anti-Racism Coordinator. Before taking up her role in Brussels, she worked at the Non-Discrimination Ombudsman’s Office and the Ministry of Justice in Finland. She has extensive experience and expertise in combatting racism and racial discrimination and promoting non-discrimination at the local and member state level. She has also held a number of senior roles in NGOs and grassroots organizations working on anti-racism and anti-discrimination. In addition, she is a solution-focused brief therapist with expertise in the effects of racism and discrimination on mental health.
