Description: The "Voices Against Racism" concert is a public event to mark the start of the Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination. The concert will feature two groups: “Arrels de Gràcia/Raíces de Gracia”, a gem of Catalan rumba and a prominent part of Barcelona's musical scene, formed by individuals rooted in the Romani tradition. Catalan rumba is a candidate for UNESCO intangible cultural heritage status, and the Gracia neighborhood is one of the genuine places where this musical style, a fusion of many cultures, was born. “Las Karamba”, an Afro-Latin fusion music group made up of women, will also perform, featuring urban rhythms, bolero, salsa, rumba, and rap. Additionally, the concert will include a presenter (Fàtima Saheb) who will introduce and explain the Global Forum against Racism and Discrimination by UNESCO.
